Home-Start Kennet, one of our charity clients, has been in touch to share some good news; the charity has been awarded a Big Lottery Fund grant of £375,411!
We supported Home-Start Kennet last year by providing a critique of their self-evaluation, helping the charity to highlight its impact on local families and suggesting potential areas for improvement. The Big Lottery Fund grant will enable Home-Start Kennet to expand its support for families into Chippenham and Calne, as well as increase support for local military families.
We’re really pleased for everyone at Home-Start Kennet and, whilst they did all the hard work, we’re happy to have played a small part in helping them to secure Big Lottery Fund support. As you might imagine, the charity is very happy to share their good news below! “Dear Steve, yesterday was a great day for Home-Start Kennet – our bid to the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund was successful and we were awarded £375,411 over three years to fund our work in Wiltshire. We would like to thank you for the work you did on the appraisal of our draft Evaluation Report, and your suggestions for improving it. The final report shows how many of your thoughts and ideas we have taken on board. I am sure the report played an important part in the success of our bid. Alison Millet, Chair”
