Norfolk Deaf Association

Norfolk Deaf Association commissioned Steve Allman to research and write an external evaluation of it’s Big Lottery Fund supported Hearing Support Service, which supports young people and adults with all degrees of hearing loss.

From its base in Norwich, the Hearing Support Service impacts on people across Norfolk by delivering community clinics and mobile clinics, providing advice and support and maintaining and advising on hearing aids and other assistive devices.

Our external evaluation engaged a number of clients, volunteers and external partners and found that Norfolk Deaf Association had delivered on it’s Big Lottery Fund outcomes and is delivering an essential service to people with hearing loss in Norfolk.

I'm passionate about the potential of charities and social enterprises and run my own consultancy helping them to evaluate impact and develop strategy. I'm particularly passionate about social inclusion and engaging vulnerable and marginalised groups. Also a proud Dad and future MAML :)
