Social Enterprise UK commissioned Steve Allman to design and deliver a social enterprise business plan workshop for early stage social entrepreneurs and also charities considering the benefits of a social enterprise approach.
The workshop received excellent feedback from delegates and SEUK commissioned Steve to deliver a number of focussed support sessions for individual social entrepreneurs to enable a more detailed discussion of their social enterprise business plan and provide advice and support.
Craig Carey, Head of Operations, Social Enterprise UK:
“Steve Allman successfully carried out a contract for Social Enterprise UK in July and August 2013 providing support with social enterprise business plans for early stage social enterprises. This covered an introduction to social enterprise business planning workshop for 20 organisations and then follow up one to one meetings to review the final social enterprise business plans.
Steve provided a very creative approach to the workshop blending his own personal experiences of being a CEO transforming organisations with practical tools and techniques for the attendees to build their own social enterprise business plans. He has an open and personable delivery style which led to all the attendees being engaged, enabling a transfer of knowledge between him but also between the organisations.
We had excellent feedback from the sessions, Steve delivers on time and to a very high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for future work.”
